Hey hi hello. At the very beginning of June 2019 I helped a friend move across the country. Imagine this: me + a lifted jeep + a 4,000lb trailer and 1,700+ miles to drive. Let’s look at the photographic evidence, shall we?
So I didn't take any photos in Florida or Alabama, but that’s the homeland so we didn’t need those photos anyway. The ever-jazzy Louisiana sparked the motivation to keep my camera out and actually start capturing things. Here’s Baton Rouge:
Do you know what’s after Louisiana? Texas. A lot of Texas.
New Mexico was shockingly wet on our drive in. Have you ever heard of Clovis? Neither had I. But alas, we were en route to the thriving metropolis! I should note I had one of the most incredible breakfast burritos in that town. Honestly 10/10 would recommend if you’re ever in the neighborhood (you won’t be).
The next stop: Santa Fe. This town is sooo cool. It’s also when I started ramping up the number of images I was taking.
Ohhh the food and drink. No time was wasted - hike up your sleeves and giddy up for some sugar, Mexican food and beer. Yeehaw.
The next day: Arizona!
Made it to Phoenix! My destination! Here’s a Bronco:
Speaking of old cars, there’s a certain old car that made for an epic fancy night.
7 days of incredible company, adventure and beauty. Little did I know this was the kickstart to quite the epic summer……
